Assistent Controller

Responsible for the integrity of the general ledger and sub-ledgers.
Prepare financial reporting (monthly Financial statements) by brand & Region P&L’s, weekly sales, open order schedules and prepare budgets.
Execute, analyze and advise on forecasting, budgets and ad hoc management reporting.
On a monthly basis you prepare the variances against forecast and budgets.
Control and adjust where required the administrative organization.
Responsible for internal controls.
Analyze and report shortfalls in the existing administrative organization and internal control structures.
Implement improvements and make suggestions related to planning and control-cycle.
Advise and support the Controller.

Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting and 5+ years of accounting/analyst experience.
Must be highly organized, self-motivated, thinking in solutions, operationally aggressive and possess a positive attitude.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to establish and build positive working relationships with associates at various levels and functions, both within and outside the organization.
Good knowledge of the Dutch language –oral and written- is a must.
Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced environment, demonstrating flexibility, while still achieving accuracy and deadlines, is essential.
Strong working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word.
Experience with RA-Trade, Access and/or Power Point Software a plus.
